Hi Cody
The Vietnamese education system is the same as the one you know but is Monday to Saturday and only about 4 hours a day of school. Most private Vietnamese School has school uniforms, but it really depends on if the school either is private or public because a privet school has a better school campus, better teachers and lower student teacher ratio. However the school fees often were expensive to a normal Vietnamese family. Public school had a much cheaper education fee with a higher student teacher ratio, and the schools are often not wealthy.
The school where we study is different to a Vietnamese school; we’re an International American School so basically the teachers and students are from different countries all over the world. Believe it or not, we study similar things as you do like world history and American history in Social studies class and the textbook we’re using are all imported from the States. The student teacher ratio is about twenty in our school, so we don’t have any class that has fifty-six students; also we have to go to school Monday to Friday from 7:55a.m. To 3:00p.m. There are after school activities that you can choose. We have basketball, volleyball, soccer, dodge ball, and swim team from elementary school to high school.,

Our school name is Saigon South International School which is SSIS. During the Vietnam War the south of Vietnam is called Saigon which is now Ho Chi Minh City. The South of Saigon which is Saigon South. That’s where the name of our school has come from. SSIS is a very expensive public school compared to the schools in the States. We have preschool for three years old kids, kindergarten, elementary school, middle school and all the way to high school 12th grade.

Family

Family makes me think about my parents, siblings, the people who you live with, play with, pays the money for you for everything, or their DNA were very similar just like yours.

My family has father, mother, one older brather, and my self. My parents were really nice to me and my brather, they gave us good education and a nice apartment for living. Families often stayed together as a small group of team, no matter how far we’re from each other, even if we’re apart, we always keep contect to eachother. The summer of 2008, My dad was in Vietnam, my mother was in Taiwan, my brather was in China and I was in United State of America. Even through we’re not together but we still cares about eachother, no mater how much i hates my older brather. I’ve been to more than twenty countries so far in my life, and yap of corse i was traveling with my family.   ><<<<<!!!

In art class we learned about artist Tony Crag, the image above is one of his art work. He collects every day objects then paints them into different colors and then put them into some kinds of position that outlines an object.

Cyber-bullying is when someone repeatedly makes fun of another person online or repeatedly picks on another person through emails or text messages, or uses online forums and postings online intended to harm, damage, humiliate or isolate another person that they don’t like.
